In-Year transitions

Support for pupils who join schools mid-year or move between schools outside of standard transition points.

Support Available:

• EALS:

  • Support for pupils joining mid-year or mid-phase, helping them settle quickly.
  • Bilingual Support Officers assist with cultural and language transitions.

• INCAP:

  • Support for school-to-school transitions, including documentation and strategy planning.
  • Reintegration panels and targeted packages for pupils at risk of exclusion.
