Supporting emotional regulation
There are different strategies which can help children and young people to develop skills to regulate their emotions. This document explains each approach and how they blend in practice, including:
- Therapeutic Thinking
- Zones of Regulation
- Nurture
- ESLAs
- Thrive
Each approach can be implemented at a whole school level. This will provide a foundation for group and individual support, if required.
