Eating difficulties
Supporting young people with eating difficulties
Eating difficulties and disorders can take many different forms. These can involve:
- eating too much
- eating too little
- having strict rules around food
- putting limitations on the types of foods you eat
- struggling to eat enough
- bingeing
- worries about weight or body shape
- eating habits or behaviours that cause problems
NHS Sussex provide information and guidance. This includes a toolkit and guidance poster. We recommend using these resources in your school or setting.
