2. What the information is used for
The information is used
- to maintain a universal directory of children resident in or receiving services from East Sussex
- to collect once and use many times
- to provide other departments and partner organisations (e.g. Health Services, ISEND, Admissions) with information to carry out their core services concerning children.
It is also used to make returns to the DfE that are required of the LA and of benefit to the school, but not set out in statute, e.g. for Secondary schools; Intended Destinations, September Guarantee, Annual Activity Survey and headline exam results on results day.
