SEGfL (South East Grid for Learning)

South East Grid for Learning (SEGfL)  is a Regional Broadband Consortium (RBC) serving 13 member local authorities from across the South East. SEGfL is a not-for-profit organisation with just under 3,000 schools making us one of the largest RBCs in England.

SEGfL is an active member of NEN - The Education Network www.nen.gov.uk and all SEGfL schools are entitled to access and use the full suite of NEN resources from their school network. This is an ever-expanding collection of high quality teaching and learning resources that include 80,000 music tracks from Audio Network, a copyright free image gallery, as well as material from the BBC, British Library, Scott Polar Research Institute and the National Theatre (see our Learning section for all the resources).

Educational Software

2Simple has been making powerful and creative educational software for over 15 years, during which time we have won over 40 industry awards and become a trusted name in the industry. The company is based in the UK but 2Simple tools are used in classrooms all over the world.

The aim of our software is to create a space where children can learn while being creative, using the technology and tools they will have to use for the rest of their lives. We take difficult concepts and make them accessible to children of all abilities.

CASPA is a simple and intuitive tool for the analysis and evaluation of attainment and progress for pupils with Special Educational Needs who are working significantly below age-related expectations.  It supports your school’s self-evaluation and school improvement activities by providing intelligent and user-friendly interpretation of assessments and targets for individual pupils, for cohorts of pupils within your school and at whole-school level.  CASPA makes use of existing data wherever possible, including the historic data required to track progress over time, thus ensuring you derive maximum benefit from your data for minimum administrative effort.
