3. Resources to support pupils

All Primary school SENCOs have received the CLASS transition booklets to use to support pupils with transition. There are three booklets, one to support transition in KS1, one for transition in KS2 and one for transition from KS2 to KS3. While these booklets are aimed at children who may need additional support around transition, they are appropriate to use with all children and we would encourage schools to do so.

Vulnerable learners Protocol

The Vulnerable Learners Protocol was developed in partnership with schools, Further Education (FE) providers, Youth Employability Service (YES) and East Sussex County Council Children’s Services teams.  The protocol outlines the responsibilities and activities for all professionals and partners supporting vulnerable young people to ensure a successful transition into Post 16.
