DfE Guidance on temporary changes: attendance recording for educational settings whilst closed due to the coronavirus
We have put together key information and resources for schools to help maintain provision during the COVID-19 situation.
Access key information and resources to support East Sussex schools during the COVID-19 situation, including any SEND-specific information available - Including updated (28 May) DfE guidance about recording of attendance.
All schools can find their named link ISEND team member in the School Link Staff document below.
ISEND are planning to pilot the Team Around the School (TAS) process. The TAS meeting allows ISEND services to work together to support schools in a joined-up approach. The meeting will allow for the sharing of ideas and to enable services to offer the right support for the school. By working together, ISEND services can offer a number of professionals as part of problem solving and ideas to move stuck cases forward. These meetings would happen on a yearly basis.
There will be a selection of schools to pilot these meetings throughout the 2020- 2021 school year before being rolled out on a wider basis. Schools will be contacted to take part.
These TAS sessions should be used for problem solving and whole school development. Cases that require individual service input should still go through the normal routes such as a Front Door referral.
