1. What is TLP?

The ISEND Teaching and Learning Provision (TLP) provides educational support for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are unable to attend school full-time as a result of illness or medical disability. We also monitor the education being given to children whose parents/carers choose to educate them at home, and offer advice and support to these parents/carers.

The Teaching and Learning Provision supports ascribed Gypsy Roma Traveller children to achieve their academic potential in school and provide interim packages of education for children waiting for a named special school placement.
