Schools crisis management

DfE Guidance on temporary changes: attendance recording for educational settings whilst closed due to the coronavirus

We have put together key information and resources for schools to help maintain provision during the COVID-19 situation.

Crisis management in schools relates to the management of onsite or offsite incidents by way of a pre-determined plan. The plan will detail options for responding to scenarios and the roles and responsibilities of staff and governors.

The model plan is a guide text that should be adapted to the needs of the setting, determined through a risk assessment of local hazards.

Further links support responses to such things as bomb threats and active shooter scenarios.
