DfE Guidance on temporary changes: attendance recording for educational settings whilst closed due to the coronavirus
We have put together key information and resources for schools to help maintain provision during the COVID-19 situation.
All exams due to take place in schools in England in summer 2020 are cancelled and educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams will not be published for the 2019/20 academic year. DfE Guidance: Coronavirus (COVID-19): school and college accountability.
1. Key Stage assessment data collection
Teacher Assessments at the end of each Key Stage are usually collected at the end of the academic year.
Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Phonics data will be collected by the Local Authority by means of Excel spreadsheet files which schools submit via AVCO AnyComms InfoMgt
Key Stage 2 data are usually collected by the Department for Education's (DfE) Standards and Testing Agency (STA) but this year (2020) LA will collect KS2 teacher assessments via 2020 Key Stage 2 Outcomes Excel spreadsheet submitted to AVCO as detailed above.
